The SIAE ALFOplus80HDX is an all-outdoor microwave radio system in the 80GHz frequency band, offering scalable data throughput rates of up to 20 Gbit/s full duplex. Channel bandwidths from 250 MHz to 2000 MHz and hitless adaptive modulation ranging from 4QAM to 256QAM, combined with a very attractive price, make the ALFOplus80HDX an optimal solution for transmitting high throughput rates with the best possible availability. The system provides a full range of Ethernet features as well as advanced switching functions to meet all requirements of next-generation networks (4G / 5G) regarding high throughput, synchronization, compactness, and a small footprint. To achieve the highest possible data rates, the system can be deployed as a 1+0 variant (up to 10 Gbit/s) or as a 2+0 XPIC variant (up to 20 Gbit/s). For security-critical applications, optional AES 128/256-bit encryption is also available.

The ALFO80HDX offers both copper interfaces (10/100/1000BaseT) and two 10G SFP interfaces. Power is supplied either via the copper interface (PoE+ standard) or directly to the outdoor unit with -48V. To achieve optimal availability even over longer distances, the ALFO80HDX can be used as a multiband link. In this configuration, the system is coupled with an additional frequency band (e.g., 18, 23, or 28 GHz). Transmission is handled via just ONE combo antenna!
