Product description
The iPASOLINK VR10 is a split-mount microwave system with extensive features in the 6–42 GHz frequency range. Thanks to its compact, flexible, and modular design, the iPASOLINK VR10 is highly versatile, allowing for the combination of all-outdoor and split-mount systems.
With "split-mount" technology, the modem units and numerous other active transmission options are housed in an indoor unit (IDU). A coaxial cable connects the indoor unit to the outdoor unit (ODU), which is then connected to the antenna.
The iPASOLINK VR10 IDU can be equipped with up to 12 modems, allowing up to 12 microwave links to be operated with a single VR10 IDU. The VR10 is therefore ideal as a distribution system for connecting various other locations from a single site.
VR10 technology supports channel bandwidths of up to 112 MHz, enabling 2.6 Gbit/s per radio link. By combining multiple radio links, data transmissions of 20 Gbit/s full duplex are possible. 10GB Ethernet interfaces ensure that these high bandwidths can be transferred into the customer network. To meet security requirements, AES encryption is also available.
Various outdoor units are available depending on the requirements. In addition to the standard version, high-power versions (for long distances) or sub-band-free versions (e.g., for spare inventory) can also be used.
The VR series supports multi-level modulation of up to 4096QAM, the highest level available for microwave solutions.
