Product description
The iPASOLINK iX-Advanced (iX/A) is a carrier-class all-outdoor microwave system featuring long-range capabilities, extensive Ethernet functionality, and comprehensive frequency coverage across the 6-42 GHz bands. Its compact, flexible, and modular design accommodates a wide range of configuration options without taking up valuable space.
Unlike standard all-outdoor microwave systems, NEC physically separates the modem unit (MDU) from the outdoor unit (ODU). This allows the frequency-independent modem to be used across all frequency bands, offering significant advantages for spare parts inventory management.
Another key feature is interoperability with split-mount systems, making it possible to use a VR-series split-mount system at central sites and an iX/A system at endpoints.
Adaptive modulation up to 4096QAM and channel bandwidths of up to 112 MHz enable full-duplex net data throughput of up to 2.5 Gbps.
To optimally address diverse requirements, NEC also offers high-power ODUs (for long distances) with best-in-class transmit power, as well as sub-band-free ODUs (ideal for spare parts inventory).
