The RAN550 product family is a series of 5G O-RAN radio units (O-RUs) designed for disaggregated 5G networks and compliant with O-RAN fronthaul interface specifications. This O-RU is engineered to support a 7.2x split fronthaul network architecture and offers two 10 GbE fiber fronthaul transport options.

The RU supports a 4x4 MIMO configuration via four internal antennas integrated into the device. The RAN550 RU provides an instantaneous bandwidth of 100 MHz and a transmit power of up to +33 dBm / 2 W EIRP.

The device is housed in an IP20-rated indoor enclosure with integrated antennas, two 10 GbE fiber ports, and a 12 V DC power connector. It is designed for wall or ceiling mounting and is rated for an operating temperature range of 0 to +40 °C.
