Product description
The XV2-2 dual-radio Wi-Fi 6 access point (AP) provides a cost-effective way to deploy a next-generation network. Wi-Fi 6 technology delivers higher network speeds and enables reliable connectivity for connected devices. Wi-Fi 6 introduces a deterministic model to the RF layer, where the AP controls client connections. This includes when connections are turned on or off and how packets are sent and received. The XV2-2 is fully backward compatible with existing Wi-Fi technology and provides capacity for the rapid growth of low-power, low-bit-rate IoT devices.
Cloud and On-Premises Management
The XV2-2 can be managed via on-premises or Cambium Networks' intelligent cloud management systems, XMS or cnMaestro™. Choose the management system that best suits your business and leverage the latest technology from Cambium Networks. Cambium XMS uses intelligent access points (APs) with an integrated edge controller to deliver maximum capacity at any network density. The XMS management layer is based on cloud-first technology with a simple, user-friendly interface. This enables L7 policy-based application control, secure EasyPass BYOD access, and offers an MSP dashboard with a drag-and-drop design. The XMS management architecture supports SDR to operate the XV2-2 radio via single 5 GHz 8x8 or dual 5 GHz 4x4.
Cambium cnMaestro™ uses a distributed intelligence architecture that includes cloud-first management and intelligent APs that self-optimize for the RF environment. Cambium Broadband Fixed Wireless, cnMatrix Ethernet switches, enterprise-grade Wi-Fi APs, and service provider residential routers can be managed centrally from a single interface. cnMaestro™ is included in the price of the device.
