Airspan acquires defense business and select broadband product lines

On September 22, 2026, Cambium Networks and Airspan Communications Limited entered into an agreement for the sale of the defense business and select fixed broadband product lines.

The acquired portfolio includes the PMP 450 platform, PTP 670, PTP 450i, PTP 700, the 28 GHz and 60 GHz cnWave products, and cnReach. The acquisition also includes LINKPlanner, cnHeat, and cnMaestro, insofar as this software relates to the acquired product lines.

For the remaining business units, the appointed insolvency practitioners from RSM UK Restructuring Advisory are pursuing further potential sales to continue operations.

cnMaestro Cloud: Support until at least October 2026

Cambium Networks is extending support for cnMaestro Cloud until at least the end of October 2026. This also includes the entire enterprise product portfolio.

The goal is to find a buyer for cnMaestro to ensure long-term access. Alternatively, a transition from the cloud to a local on-premises installation is to be made possible.

Local solution for Network Service Edge announced

In parallel, Cambium Networks is working on an on-premises version of Network Service Edge (NSE). According to a statement on September 23, this is to be made available to existing users in the following days. The company has not provided a specific release date.
