On November 24, 2025, Pete Smith, President and CEO of Aviat Networks, the global leader in wireless data transmission solutions based in Austin, Texas, visited the Compart IT-Group, the primary Aviat partner in the German-speaking region, accompanied by Enrico Leonardi, Vice President of EMEA Sales & Services, and Channel Sales Manager Stefan Schäfer.

"We had a very concrete discussion about developing our partnership following Aviat's acquisition of the NEC wireless division three years ago, but we focused even more on exchanging ideas regarding opportunities and strategies that will trigger a growth spurt through upcoming major projects in the DACH region," said Compart CEO Dirk Hartmann following the high-profile visit in Lünen.

Pete Smith was pleased to meet in person and emphasized that he intends to continue relying on the service-oriented national market leader, Compart, in the German-speaking microwave radio market by further expanding the partnership.
