Wiconn at KOMMUNAL 2025: Digital solutions for municipalities

Looking back: Wiconn at KOMMUNAL 2025 in Göttingen

KOMMUNAL 2025 in Göttingen was all about the digital future of cities and municipalities. Over the past two days, Tobias Ladewig and Luis Priebe were there representing us at booth C08, alongside Jörg Teichfischer from our booth partner LAN-COM-East, engaging in discussions about smart solutions for local authorities.

The atmosphere was fantastic: many exciting conversations, interested visitors, and numerous insights highlighted the high demand for practical, ready-to-implement solutions for municipal digitalization.

‍

Topics that matter to municipalities

The focus was on technologies and concepts that offer real added value to municipalities today:

  • Microwave radio for rapid broadband expansion and stable connectionsSolutions for white spots – ready for immediate use and independent of fiber-optic expansion5G campus networks (5G mLAN) – private networks for municipal applicationsWLAN coverage – scalable, secure, and future-proof

‍

These solutions demonstrate how municipalities can efficiently build digital infrastructures to optimally connect citizens, administration, and businesses.

‍

Our conclusion on KOMMUNAL 2025

We are taking away many valuable impressions and new contacts, and we appreciate the open dialogue with representatives from cities and municipalities. The exchange confirmed that municipalities need flexible, reliable, and quickly implementable network solutions to successfully drive digitalization forward.

‍

A big thank you to everyone who visited our booth – we look forward to our next conversations and projects!
